What we do
Welcome to the Hope for Hadley Jo Project!
The Project
Funding for the Hope for Hadley Jo project would allow the Epilepsy Foundation of Kentuckiana to serve a number of children and adults seeking a service dog who are impacted by drug resistant epilepsy, which causes them to be at risk of injury from uncontrolled seizures, or worse, sudden unexpected death in epilepsy (SUDEP).
Made with Love
100% of the proceeds from our "purple dog" bow ties benefit the project funding service dogs for other children with epilepsy.
The Beaux Tie
This beaux tie is offered in lilac purple, in support of the fight against Epilepsy. It comes embroidered in a checkered pattern displaying the logo for the Hope for Hadley Jo Project, a purple dog inscribed with "HJ" on the chest in honor of Hadley Jo.

Hadley Jo & Ariel
Inspiration
Hadley Jo was diagnosed with cryptogenic localization related epilepsy at the young age of two. A stranger's service dog responded to her seizures and opened the door to other nonconventional options for epilepsy. We found Ultimate Canine where Hadley Jo was matched with her service dog, Ariel. Ariel came home in October 2016 and is now saving Hadley Jo's life. Ariel alerts us before Hadley Jo has a seizure allowing us to administer rescue medication in less than two minutes stopping the seizure.
A founding member of the Epilepsy Foundation of Kentuckiana, Kristie is passionate about raising awareness for and ensuring the success of the Hope for Hadley Jo project.
